Keeping in contact with your local community is key to small business. It's all very well to have followers and people who love your product and what you do from the other side of the planet as they are pivotal to spreading your brand awareness internationally.
But when you're starting out, you'll need a strong following and quickly. You can do this by engaging with your local community. It's the most important thing you can do.
Canberra is a small city. It boasts about 350,000 residents and just as many round abouts. Canberrans love Canberrans. Seeing a small local business succeed, gets us all super excited.
Already in the month since we've launched, we have received so much support from our community. Support from customers, market owners, other small businesses and even organisations who run festivals outside of the ACT. The love and messages we've received have been overwhelming and we are so grateful to have so many be there for us in these early stages. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.
